Parishes of the Archdiocese of Cardiff

About

The  church  was built in 1969 by F.R. Bates, Son and Price, to serve the Catholic community of Porthcawl.  Prior to the opening of the new church, Mass had been said in a building known as the Waddle Hall, named after Jessie Maud Waddle and Clara Hulm Waddle, who founded the Catholic mission in 1903.That building is our current church hall.

We are an active lively parish. Please feel free to join us for Holy Mass at the weekends and weekdays. Weekday masses are usually at 10am Mon-Fri, but please check the newsletter link for changes.  On Mondays a Scripture Group meets from 10:30-11:30 in the side chapel, on Tuesdays Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is from 10:00-14:00. On Fridays at 19:30 a Christian meditation group meets in the side chapel and on Sundays from 18:00-19:30 a Charismatic Prayer Group meeting takes place in the chapel.

Social activities take place in the church hall throughout the week.  See the newsletter for details.
